Spring is in the air at Himm Family Dentistry!  It is time to celebrate our one year anniversary at our new location in Livonia.  We begin with honoring the patients who have been with us for 3 generations. On Sunday, April 25, at 1:00 p.m., for these patients, we are having a light lunch reception and photography session provided by Stephanie Johnson Photography.  Our “Three Generation” portrait will hang in our office to show our appreciation of their loyalty. These loyal patients have been with us beginning with Dr. Paul Watson, who started his practice in Livonia in 1953. His son-in-law, Dr. William Himm, joined the practice in 1977. Dr. Rebecca Watson Himm, granddaughter of Dr. Paul and daughter of Dr. Bill, joined the practice in 2006, when Himm Family Dentistry, P.C. was formed. She maintains the tradition of caring for our patients’ oral health with exceptional skills, gentle touch and concern for all.

Thanks to many of you, our HFD practice is growing.  We are pleased and honored to be welcoming your friends as our new patients.  Our referral program offers a special bonus to anyone who refers someone to our office when that person becomes one of our patients.  In that event, we award the referring patient their choice of a $25 Gift Card or $50 off future dental care. HFD is happy to announce the winner of a Free One-Hour Massage.  BARB VALASEK will be able to relax and enjoy her time with our Massage Therapist, Daniel Himm, in our beautifully decorated treatment room, right here at HFD. Daniel Himm is available to meet all of your therapeutic massage needs.  Be sure to schedule your appointment with Himm Healing Hands soon.  We also have gift certificates available if you would like to treat one of your friends or loved ones to a wonderful therapeutic massage. (Remember that Mother’s Day is coming up soon!)  Just ask our Care Coordinators to help you.  Our next drawing will be on July 1.  All of our April through June Hygiene patients, who schedule their six- month return visit, will have their names entered for the prizes.  First prize is a Sonicare electric toothbrush and the 2^nd prize is a “White Ice” tooth whitening kit.  Our winner will be announced in the summer newsletter.

All of us at HFD are so happy for our patient, JUSTIN NANYS, age 7.  He was our lucky winner for the Sonicare toothbrush coloring contest drawing. His beautiful artwork was displayed in the office.  Congratulations Justin!

A Care Coordinator, Hygienist and Dental Assistant are all assigned for you.  We are proud that we have state of the art equipment at our disposal so that we may give you the best treatment possible.  The latest addition to our repertoire is a CEREC machine that enables us to design and cut crowns, inlays and onlays for you in ONE APPOINTMENT.   Our appointments are never double-booked and the time of your appointment is dedicated to serving ONLY YOU. We truly appreciate our patients who respect our time!
